Elemental Threads Bag Giveaway

April 11, 2010

A gorgeous week, a new website– let’s celebrate!

Elemental Threads is one of my favorite local retailers. Emily Worden is a friendly, eco-conscious designer who makes the absolute cutest bags in the world. You can visit her online design showroom and design a custom tote, clutch, or wristlet that fits your needs.

To kick off Spring, I’m giving away a $25 gift certificate that can be used toward any purchase on elementalthreads.com. Even better, you can use the gift certificate in combination with the coupon code quarterlife for an additional 20% off your purchase!

How to enter:

Mandatory entry: (This is the fun part!) Design a bag or visit the blog shop. Comment on this entry describing the bag you made or want to buy. One entry per email address, please.

Just because I’m nosy, post a picture (upload the file on tinypic.com) so that I can see what you made if you’re so inclined. (not mandatory)

Bonus entries: Do any of the following:

  1. Leave a comment here indicating that you follow @25lifetyle on twitter. (+ 1 entry)
  2. Tweet about this giveaway @25lifestyle and @eThreads up to 2x and comment here with the link to your tweet. (+1 entry for each tweet)
  3. Blog about this giveaway or add Quarterlife Lifestyle to your blogroll and leave a comment linking to your site. (+3 entries)

All entries must be submitted by 11:59pm EST on April 17th, 2010. I’ll announce a winner no later than Tuesday, April 20th, 2010. The winner will be selected using random.org and I’ll contact the winner via email on Tuesday.

For the risk averse out there, you can buy your purse at a 20% discount with code quarterlife. The 20% off discount is good from April 12-April 23rd, 2010. After the 23rd, it goes back to the standard 10% discount.

I can’t wait to see what you guys come up with!

-A

EDIT (4/18/10): The contest is over! I’ll compile all the entries and announce the winner soon!

also, i feel like i’ve been to so many places and have experienced so many places that i am certain of where i want to be and the vibe i want to be surrounded by. a lot of my friends are still moving away and exploring new cities and i don’t want to say that i’ve lost that feeling of exploration, but i do it so much i have a better sense of where i want to be at this point. it doesn’t hurt that i get to see and visit all of the other cities i love like portland and asheville at least once a year if not…three or four haha.

My bag is the striped wristlet w/nickel lobster claw clasp. The first strip (top) is beige, second is white, the third is patterned w/circles colored in beige, white, and black. The handle strap is patterned this same way. The fourth bottom strip is made of canvas and is black. You’re right, this was fun!!
